Meet Our Instructors

Taylor Ruzewski

Vinyasa Flow on Monday and Wednesday evenings

Taylor is a RYT 200 instructor living in Arvada, Colorado. She teaches a vinyasa style practice that focuses on connectivity between the body and breath. Taylor believes in the physical strength and resilience of the human body and looks to compliment that in her yoga practice. Her goal is to provide lighthearted classes that serve the needs of her students and leave them feeling strong and connected. If she isn’t teaching, you can find her climbing, snowboarding, or hiking.

Chris Schoch

Power Yoga on Tuesday evenings.

Christopher was introduced to yoga in 2012 through the P90X program. He was both impassioned and challenged by the physical and mental components of the yoga asana and soon found respect for the tranquility his practice produced within his mind, body and soul. In 2014 Christopher completed his 200 hour teacher training and began teaching Vinyasa flow. Since that time, Christopher has logged numerous hours training in Vinyasa flow, inversions and arm-balances with world-renowned teachers.

Christopher will inspire you to challenge both your mind and body through unique and playful flows, arm-balances and inversions. In Christopher’s classes you will experience ever-changing expansions in practice as he is continuously creating new and imaginative flows.

Ellen

Vinyasa Flow on Thursday Evenings

Ellen is a public servant and yoga instructor living in Arvada, Colorado. After discovering yoga as a teen, she fell in love with its many mental and physical benefits and went on to complete her 200-hour vinyasa training in 2018. Her goal is to promote mindfulness and self-discovery through movement, and hopes her students leave class feeling grounded and supported. Outside of yoga and climbing, you can usually find Ellen in the mountains: birdwatching, hiking/backpacking, skiing, or frolicking!

Alyx

Gentle Flow on Saturday Mornings

Alyx began practicing yoga at a young age to supplement training as a dancer and managing lordosis and sciatica. That opened the door to begin exploring the spiritual side of Yoga and eventually inspired her to get her initial 200hr YT training in NJ. Now, a decade later and 800hrs of trainings and certifications later, Alyx has dedicated herself to studying all aspects of yoga and providing individualized and specialized care to her students. Alyx has trained in multiple yoga lineages including hatha, vinyasa, restorative, yin, kundalini, and is also a certified Reiki healer. Known for her intuitive teaching style and nurturing presence, Alyx prioritizes creating spaces where students feel seen, supported, safe, and empowered.
